Need to add ie,msn messenger,accessories from the i 386, but i can't find the right file,where

I accidentally removed some windows default components: ie, accessories, outlook express windows media player etc. I have located the i386 folder but where am I supposed to direct it? it keeps taking me to another file and another. I can't find the specific one. Any help, emergency I am at work!!

control panel-%26gt; add/remove software-%26gt;add/remove windows components. "That's all Folks"! When you check a component it adds it, uncheck for removal. When asked for cdrom; point to i386 folder.

u can download msn messenger from the net .. i wouldnt screw around with the 386 file myself ... if u have multiple things screwed up pop in ur windows cd and do a repair ...
