BT/Yahoo broadband - Installed Firefox, IE wont work, just hangs and doesn鈥檛 reach home page? No error given, well I could not be bothered waiting more than 10 minutes.
I wonder if it something to do with BT/YAHOO broadband settings because as soon as I reverted to restore point ,before Firefox installation, the connection worked fine. I do not want to be stuck with just IE...
Any thoughts?

I have experienced the same problem. Firefox isn't supported by BT Yahoo! Broadband. Default to Firefox, then use the "Open in IE" option therein to auto open any preferred site that works better with IE - such as microsoft.com.
I've given up using the BT Yahoo! interface, it's awkward, restrictive and just TOO busy busy and "in yer face"!

It is a BT/Yahoo issue as they only seem to prefer IE. You should be able to change the settings within BT/Yahoo to default to Firefox. Installing Firefox does not change any settings in IE to stop it working, now if it was the other way round that would be a different matter.

dont bother with IE at all, it sucks
