How can I remove an IE plugin via Registry Editing?

I have installed the latest Skype, and choosen NOT to install the IE plug-ins, yet IE still asks me if I want to allow Skype to interact with my browser. Even they I say "Do not ask me about this again" and I select NO, it still asks me (everytime the page has a phone number on it)

I have tried just about everything.. now I'm ready to physically remove it form the registry. Can someone offer a step-by-step guide to remove this???

Go to Tools %26gt; Internet Options %26gt; Programs and click on the "Manage Addons" button. There you could enable and disable specific addons. Just find the Skype addon there and disable it.
