How do i stop microsoft IE pop ups?

i switched to firefox but i keep getting hundreds of microsoft IE popups. i have avast and spybot installed but this does not help.i even turned off the IE in the windows remove components. any suggestions?

I would suggest first installing IE 7.0 which overwrites your current IE. Research on the internet the popups your getting, cause if your not running IE, it's probably spyware's problem. If all else fails, force uninstall IE but then you might have problem's (No webbrowser to download IE again, also programs opening popup's might fail, causing problems)

upgrade your IE to IE7.0 which has a pop up blocker. Or you can download google toold bar which has a pop up blocker.
