Give your opinion. MF or IE?

Hey!!

This is not really a question, problem or concern. All I want to know is; Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer? Why?

So please give your opinion.

NO DO NOT MIX SAFARI, OPERA ETC INTO THIS "QUESTION". WE ARE ONLY TALKING ABOUT IE AND MF!.

Sorry about the caps, it is important.

I uninstalled MF because I figured out that it slowed down my computer DRAMATICALLY, meaning a lot. Now I am considering trying it again, because afterall it is more "user-friendlier" and IE.

I completely agree with the first guy Firefox is just sooo much better than IE so much more efficient and user friendly

i use FF b/c its faster, and its more secure. I greatly detest IE. its the worst browser every created.
I prefer Firefox because of the number of add-ons available for specific uses. For general browsing, either one really works just fine.

On a side note, it may have been bad add-ons that were slowing down your computer instead of Firefox itself. Try using Firefox without any add-ons and see how that works out for you.

There are many different things that people can say about either browser to make it sound better, but the thing that I've noticed is that although Firefox can be a bit of a resource hog at times, it is the safest browser out there. IE may run faster, but after a while you're going to have your computer being slower overall because of all the security holes. If you're going to run a browser I'd go with Firefox. Not only does Firefox stop most popup ads, but it also stops sites from installing things on your computer until you tell it to allow it. On top of all that, you can install plugins for firefox to make it the safest browser ever created. There are two plugins that make this possible. One is called AdBlock, and what that does is it blocks most, if not all, of those annoying flash ads and whatnot. The other one is called NoScript. NoScript disables javascript and other things from running in your browser, so as to keep malicious scripts from running and stealing information from your computer, such as what sites you've been going to, credit card numbers, etc.
FireFox is way superior to IE. In the past, IE has been known to have several flaws. Micro$oft has been getting their stuff together now, but FireFox still is prefered because they lots more features and security than IE.
Firefox, its a much safer, less chance of viruses, runs quicker, rss feeds, blocks pop ups.
