Can I install a password on Internet Explorer (IE) to restrict access from children in the house?

I have young teenagers in the house. We have AOL, but they have figured out that if they go to IE they can get around parental controls. Can I establish a password to restrict access to IE. We have a windows password required at start-up. But turning the computer on is a 8-10 minute task. Thanks

u can make 2 users on your pc. 1 for u (with pass) and 1 for ur teenagers with out pass. what u do is disable IE on their user so they can't use that software. make sure that ur user (i guess u can call it account) is the admin -- full control of ur PC and ur kid's account is guest or limited access.

It is called discipline.

Too many parents nowadays rely on a software to raise their kids.

The solution is easy. If the kids ever use IE again then the computer is off-limits for them for a month. Period. No negotiation.

And don't let them con you that they NEED the computer for schoolwork. 99% of that "schoolwork" is spent on the instant messenger or MySpace.
