I have NO sound on IE or Firefox.?

I have no Sound on IE or Firefox. I've looked at other questions like this, tried what answers were offered but none seemed to fix my problem. My speakers are connected properly. I have sound for other programs. It's just NO sound comes through for IE or Firefox... not even the sound of clicking on a link or changing pages. Please, help!

restart your computer :P
Take the other recently added programs out of your start up and reboot. Something is kidnapping your sound card.
Just shut down your computder, press the power button, and start again. If still no sound, make some phone calls. Good luck.
have you tried installing your sound driver.

or reinstall firefox and IE

OR system restore and restore your computer system to a time before the problem started
hmmm this is quite strange indeed

if i were you i'd reinstall IE or Firfox

but try to mess around in the prefrences area of firfox or IE

and you might stumble upon something which might lead to the solution of your problem

hope you can figure it out.
