One of my sisters put IE 7 on my mom's computer and I was at first madder than a hornet. I've had previous experience with it and all of them were negative. But before I rehash any bad memories onto the one that did the work, I'd like to know the opinions of other people. I'm asking this in two locations to get more possible responses.
Your opinion on IE 7 please.?windows vista ultimate

Your opinion on IE 7 please.?default browser internet explorer
If IE 7 doesn't work for you, try Firefox.
it simply sucks use firefox it is much better
I HATE IE7...
I use exclusively firefox. uses a lot less memory on your computer than ie.
I've always found it to be REALLY lagging, especially with the tabs. It's always a last resort for me. :P
a hornet? that's not too mad... good insect, deserves to be mentioned.
I like IE6 better. Just based on the general layout an such. My work computer upgraded to IE7 on monday and I'm having fits finding all the icons now (refresh, stop, home, etc.). I've been using the tabs for a year or so now with the SBC Yahoo! Browser I use at home (well, it's AT%26amp;T now). I love the tabs. So much more organized.
I only use IE if it's a stupid MS site that won't open with Firefox.
DON'T downgrade to IE6 if you don't like it. You're stuck with it. I've had to reinstall 5 times and it still doesn't work. I can only log into yahoo through a certain url. That pisses me off.
When I went back to IE6, at first, if I tried to open a new window, the window would open, but the page wouldn't load. To open a new page, I had to click the IE icon.
I think IE 7 is functional, it gets the job done, but Mozilla Firefox is way better.....I have IE 7 at work, but use Firefox at home.
I liked it, especially the feature where you could access other windows from the tabs at the top. But, I had some problems with my DSL and sbcglobal.net said it was caused by IE7 so I reverted back to IE6. At any rate, the problems disappeared. But I did like that feature mentioned above.
