Wireless connects but IE wont surf?microsoft flight simulator
You might want to check your DNS configuration. DNS is the service gives your computer information about host names, such as "where is answers.yahoo.com?". Without it, your computer has no clue what to do with the name "answers.yahoo.com".
Google for "DNS settings" or "DNS configuration", or use the address below to find more information on how to configure DNS. You should use the DNS servers your ISP (Internet Service Provider) told you to use, or, if possible, use your router as an "intermediary" DNS.
Wireless connects but IE wont surf?windows 2000 internet explorer
when you enter a url in ie. you should get a box that says ie is is not connected and it has 2 choices connect or work offline click connect.
you are connected but however not strong enough to access the internet
goto internet explorer options then goto connection tab, thats where your problem is i think, try messing around with those settings and it should start working :-) sorry i cant be more specific
Make sure that your browsers have permission of firewall or proxy.

Check that u have enter the DNS ip address.. I have same issue. so i consult with my ISP.
They told me to feed the DEFAULT GATEWAY, REFERED DNS ADDRESS and ALTER DNS ADDRESS.
It will give u access to internet as well. Without that u can be in same network but it will not get internet connection..
Enjoy the Knowledge !!
