Error 403 in IE on a laptop?

I finally figured out how to use remote desktop connection, so i had my laptop controlling my desktop (over a LAN). all was fine for a while. then i went to use IE7 to go online, and i got this 403 Forbidden error.

I am the admin of both the network and the computer. The network is fine since there are 3 other computers on it, and firefox works on the laptop. I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling IE7 a couple times. I hvae deleted all (browsing history, cookies, etc.) a couple times. Remote desktop still works. I cna;t log into my Napster account, i'd imagine it is connected with the same problem i have with IE. I really don;t want to reinstall windows, since i have all my class work and all stored on there (I hvae a backup, but there are programs that i purchased online that i'm not sure i can reactivate)

Any Ideas, Thanks!!!
